Terms and Conditions of Your Stay
To maintain a good standard for our guests we require certain conditions to be complied with. We appreciate most guests will respect their holiday accommodation but the occasional abuse requires that we state the following conditions. By staying in a property booked through the Darwin Holiday Apartments website, all guests as part of the booking including visitors agree to the following terms and conditions :
Note: Variances can be agreed but only by arrangement with the owner via acknowledged email.
- Check-out time is 10am unless otherwise advised to the owner prior to occupancy, to allow time to prepare property for next guests.
- Number of Guests should not exceed the number stated on the Confirmation Notice or subsequently agreed in writing or email. Fees will apply for extra guests not agreed with the owners in advance.
- Parties and Functions are strictly prohibited. The price charged is for domestic use only and not commercial. Accordingly this rate does not allow for the extra wear associated with parties in terms of cleaning, garbage removal, wear and tear, repairs etc. Use contrary to this may result in immediate termination of your rental and additional payment.
- Security, Damage, Breakages, Theft and Loss of the property and contents is the guests responsibility during their stay and compensation may be sought by the Owner. The owners take no responsibility for the tenant’s personal property during their stay.
- Parking is available in the allocated parking space(s) for this property only, for the specified number of vehicles. Additional vehicles must not park on the property.
- Rubbish must be removed prior to your departure. The yellow-lidded bins are for recyclable rubbish (glass and recyclable plastic), the green lidded-bins are for other rubbish.
- Departure Clean - the property should be left in a similar state to its condition on arrival. An additional fee may be charged by the owner if excessive cleaning is required.
- Smoking is only permitted outside and all butts must be disposed of properly. An additional fee may be charged by the owner if additional cleaning is required to remove the smell of smoking inside or to remove butts from garden areas.
- Disturbance to our neighbours, including excessive noise, is prohibited and may result in immediate termination of rental.
- Pets are not allowed under any circumstances. An additional cleaning fee will be charged if pets have been found to be on or in the property.
Variations to these conditions may only be made by prior arrangements with the owner in writing.
