Our apartment was excellent. Margaret was very efficient and organised things in an effortless manner. We had some changes and she readily accomodated these and provided eating locations that suited our budget. We enjoyed using Darwin as our base to explore Litchfield, Kakadu and Katherine. I have recommended a visit to my coleagues. One has already gone and profited by our information on eating at The Red Bull (best rack of Lamb ever tasted), Yacht Club ( absolute tropical waterfront with sun setting ) and The Wharf ( great sea breeze with food , etc.). I think to many business focus on the corporate trade at the expense of the working couple who want a short holiday (1 week) in Australia. The services in Darwin and the ease of getting their in a laid back way needs to be the focus. Not everyone wants to have a bus trip around NT, or is a grey nomad with heaps of time. Short Breaks is the way for many working couples and families. This is a market that you could tap into with ease. Just tell them to not arrive on Darwin Cup day! (It’s like arriving in Melbourne CUp day )…… I really enjoyed my visit with my wife. We are both mature workers looking for a good break with some interesting experiences. We both try to support small business, we are average Australians willing to have a good holiday and pay reasonsable prices. Don’t want corporate rates and 5 star billing.

We were very pleased with our accommodation. We appreciated the air-conditioning in both bedrooms as well as the living area, which made our stay very comfortable. I thought the service was really great – we had a problem with the electricity at Alatai, and the ladies were really sympathetic and helpful, even offering us a reduced price. We didn’t take up the reduction as we were very happy with the accommodation and service anyway.

My 2 “unsatisfied” ticks came from cleanliness and maintenance of the property but I had fantastic response from you to resolve these. Wish there was an option in between “Satisfied” and “unsatisfied”. Cheers.

Accommodation was great, and the advertising was accurate. Rooms are all very well appointed. We really appreciated the air conditioning, which was icy cold, and the pool (we were there in December!) The gardens were fantastically maintained. Staff were friendly, and property was close to family and to town. And we loved the possums on the balcony and the geckoes.

Would not hesitate in using your service again. We were extremely impressed that the photos on the website were indicative of the apartment. The apartment was abbsolutely sensational. Sue was great to deal with (especially after a bit of a disastrous arrival). We would (and already have) recommended this apartment to others and hope to return to Darwin and The View next July.
