Overview

Gorgeous 3 bedroom holiday house that pairs retro charm and tropical living with all modern conveniences! Airconditioned throughout, free wifi internet, dishwasher, fully fenced yard, convenient & quiet location. Kids and pets welcome!

Set on a large block of land and shaded by mature gardens, this is an older tropical-style ground level home, with floor to ceiling louvres and plenty of natural lighting and breeze. There are ceiling fans throughout, and the house has also been fitted with modern inverter-technology airconditioning, for those steamy "build-up" days.

The house has plenty of space, with indoor and outdoor dining, separate lounge, full-length rear verandah, seperate front and side patios, and large undercover parking space - there's even enough room for a boat or caravan! There's also a seperate family room with couches,TV, DVD and study/office area with ADSL internet connected (wireless, and free!).

The fully equipped kitchen includes a large 6 burner gas stove and wall oven, full-size fridge/freezer, dishwasher, and there's also an old-style outdoor brick barbeque. Outside laundry with full-sized washing machine, dryer, and open-air clothes line.

Located in the suburb of Jingili, Jingili Cottage is close to Darwin Airport (but *not* in the flight path!) and the TIO Mararra Sports Stadium, just a few minutes drive to Casuarina shopping centre, university and hospital, in a quiet street where you can hear the birds chirp and the frogs croak. There's also local shops, cafes, and a large sports oval just down the road. Approximately 10-15 minute drive to Darwin CBD.

Jingili Cottage is a fantastic base for a family or group holiday and for exploring everything that Darwin and the Top End has to offer.

Jingili Cottage is just 1 min walk to local shops and cafes, close to the beautiful Rapid Creek Water Gardens, fishing or tubing down Rapid Creek (if you're game!), sports stadium.....and located just 1 hour from the magnificent waterfalls of Litchfield National park, and 2 hours from Kakadu World Heritage Area.
